Good ol' original DS. I have mine since the day it came out, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

PSP. I use to be a huge fan of the DS but now I'm into more mature games and mario just doesn't do it for me anymore.
GoW sure does though.

Not that it really matters, but...my cousin would vote PSP. She has a DS Lite, but wants a PSP instead of a DSi, even though the DSi is better. I'm trying so hard to help her see the light. I'm doing everything I can. Yet, she still insists that she wants a PSP. I just thought I'd say that her vote was PSP. Maybe I can coax her to join MoD so she can vote for herself...

dslite cos dsi is crap TBH Seconding this, mostly the latter part; the DS was cool, the DS Lite was a bit of a cashcow but still enough of an improvement over the DS to warrant release, but the DSi seems to have no new features that I actually care about. I have a better camera on my phone. It's standard Nintendo moneygrabbing. No offense to those who like the DSi, of course, to each their own. I just don't see the point.

Actually, besides the camera it does have the built in web browser, not a deal maker though. What might sell me on it, is that the DSi will let you download games to the SD card slot, and hopefully bring back older hand held games (Metriod two ) that Nintendo wont put on the big screen with the wii. Buuuut..... that power button is in a VERY bad spot for me, where Im certain to knock it offline when I really dont want to. If it's recessed then I can tape a strip of hard plastic over it to prevent that...but if it sticks up a little then its a hundred and fifty dollar'ish waste of money. The dslite also wont connect to our new wirless network security type, and I need to find out if this new one supports it, otherwise said downloadable games will probably be useless to me.

I guess that's pretty cool, the first point... but people have been doing that slightly-illegally for years with flashcarts and such. It surprises me that Nintendo hadn't got around to doing this beforehand. And my DS has always refused to connect to my Wifi and I don't care enough to spend the minimal amount of money it actually costs to buy one of them Nwifi dongle things. All I would play on it is Pokemon though. If they released a remake of Gold and Silver for the DS then I would seriously reconsider though

yeah my DS won't connect to my wifi either. but i think its cause my dad messed around with the router settings..... but i honestly don't know.
Overall i think the psp has better features but a horrible library of games, DS has not as good features but an AWESOME library of games.
assassin's creed ftw.

That problem is solved. You see, if the power button is tapped, it brings you to the main menu. Holding the power button powers the system down.

also im considering buying either a dsi or a lite cause my original DS's touch screen is REALLY REALLY REALLY scratched up. playing guitar hero and other games for so many years really wore away at the screen, even with the stylus...... so idk.

I reckon you should get a dslite. A dsi does not have a GBA slot, so guitar hero cannot be played.
Also its not worth the extra money if you have a digital camera or an ipod/Mp3

im only going to get a dsi if theres any good dsi games Every game that uses the DSi's features will be horribly gimmicky in its usage so that's a non starter. Game Boy Printer and Game Boy Camera were better.

I don't think the DSi was thought out enough. the target audience won't be as big as they think.

The implication of that conclusion hopefully being that people are less stupid than Nintendo think.

The DSI is, to be honest, designed by idiots. They cut out some of the best parts of the DSlite, and added crap parts from a 1950s camera. That is not good.

Obviously, absolutely NOBODY here is fully aware of how strongly the DSi has been selling in Japan & the fact that in Japan it has been on the top of the sales charts.

The japanese will buy any new nintendo product, sales != quality.

The japanese will buy any new nintendo product, sales != quality. Indeed, to sell something in japan it just has to be 1: Vertual-ish, and 2: band new. Just like all those "New York Times' Bestselling books". Seriously, how many bestsellers can you get? 0_o
