Tentative Divinity RPG signup thread

I really have very little planned but a lot of you have expressed interest and a desire to help with this so here I go. I have done no plot planning and only a litle universe groundwork so please bear in mind that the character sheets may go through several stages of fail before it reaches maximum velocity.

Please remember that in this game, gods are not the same thing as supreme beings; as in they may never be truly omniscient and omnipotent. When dealing with mortals many may appear to be so (IE Korona, though she's pretty leet either way).

Also, divinity is in no way the "ultimate" power. Two other "schools" of power exist; the arcane and the eldrich. They probably won't be touched on as much though do come up with ideas if you have any >>

Also if you could post my half baked ideas here it would be cool, I don't know how to sum them up.

Name: Rabin
Appearance: Dark-blue lizard person, normally wears a cloak to conceal his appearance
Gear: Two swords that he can channel his elemental powers into, chains
Personality/history: Very friendly, but incredibly shy. He's incredibly intelligent and wise, but hardly speaks up. His species, the Rorek, are powerful shapeshifting beings that normally live underwater, so they are not well known too well.

Religion: Not really a deeply-religious person, he respects most deities, but doesn't actively worship them.
Skills: Elemental power over Electricity and Ice, Shapeshifting, Intangibility, Translation, Water-breathing. Has extremely strong senses (Such as sight, smell, ect...)

lol okay.... Aegis says we can have as many characters as we want, so here's mine.

Name: Scholzicus Maximus(JK) Scholzie
Manifestation: humanoid wearing all black and a black cloak with a hood. Also has black wings. Black hair with an emo haircut, red streaked on the front that covers one eye.
Philosophy: Usually is pretty bleak, doesn't have a usually postive outlook, just generally wants people to die so he can take their souls.
Personality: Dark, mysterious, likes to be alone, cuts himself(Lol no.), exerts a commanding aura.
Powers/domains/elements: Dark. Dead. Can animate dead people.... like zombies but not quite. Also carries around a Large Red Blade.
History: Was originally the brother of the king of the gods, was sent down to watch over the dead, but eventually became spiteful of his brother. Now he continues his job watching over the dead but tries his best to make the dead follow him and his ways.
Summary in 10 words: He is a Dark, mysterious, and Emo Angel of Death.
Themesong: Uhhh, Lets go with "Heaven Help Us" By My Chemical Romance.

Name: Vexon
Manifestation: Mechanical humanoid with Vahki head, mainly black and silver with some blue energy conduit things.
Philosophy: Machines are superior and everyone must merge and become one with machines.
Personality: Serious and arrogant, very nonchalant.
Powers/domains/elements: Can reverse one event within the last minute, can control any machines./ Rules a huge planet terraformed to be completely mechanical. /Electricity
History: Was created as a Great Spirit, was banished and possessed a supercomputer. Turned all of the planet's citizens into machines and became their god.
Summary in 12 words: Evil warlord who wants to rule everything and turn it into machines.

Name: "Dark Korona" (Real name yet to be revealed)
Manifestation: Her favorite choice, though she'll take other forms for deceitful purposes.
Philosophy: "Good will always triumph over evil?! Ha!! You just wait; I'll shove those words back down your throat, into your stomach, and create a shortcut for them to slip through your lungs."
Personality: Malicious, spiteful, domineering, cynical, power-hungry, and extremely cruel for no reason.
Powers/domains/elements: She is given nigh direct control over all things evil, even to the point of manipulating select inanimate objects to do her bidding / Her domain is the Eternal Darkness: What she calls home and what others would call H*** / Normally controls shadows and PSI abilities, more often than not combining them for very chaotic attacks
History: Very seldom is Dark Korona's history discussed, though it does involve her abuse in fictional worlds as a "source of power." Her evilness is fueled by her belief that evil has the potential of finding a way to ultimately destroy all that is good and bring everything into Eternal Darkness.
Summary in 10 words: The embodiment of evil itself, manifested as a crazy witch.
Theme song: Yoshihito Yano - "H***fire" (That or your favorite final boss theme- your choice)
POWER LEVEL: *To be determined*

Name: Pitario "Pit" Sakurius
Appearance: This or this. Depends on his mood.
Gear: Two daggers, which he often combines to make a holy bow that shoots arrows of light.
Personality/history: Arrogant, spiteful, persistant, and willing to fight anyone. He came to be this way after "being a whiny b**** about Turaga Lewa's death" (~Outsider's opinion) and throwing himself in a pool full of liquid Miikretoran poison (Illegally created, mind you). Such a terrible path for the once great General of the Eagle air force.
Religion: "There is no loving and caring God; there is only a slew of genocide lovers that want to destroy one another, and I don't see why we shouldn't all do it now!"
Skills: Controls air and light, and is able to combine them to create fire.
Themesong: Metallica - "Fight Fire with Fire"

Name: Korona
Manifestation: Added pic for you. ~Ness
Philosophy: Most of the time she fights for her purpose; to enforce balance on the galaxy. Sometimes she gets bored of that and goes off to do other stuff though >>
Personality: She respects intelligence and wit and she prides her own senses of them very highly. She's not one for jokes though. Often appearing brooding and dark, this is a common mistake to make; she simply has nothing to say and will only speak when needed and full effect of her words will be reached.
Powers/domains/elements: The opposite of what there is an abundance of; in addition, constant light and darkness powers that vary in strength.
History: Created by the Great Beings as a servant, she has broken from their control while still maintaining her task. Her power however has pretty much surpassed them.

Nah, I was thinking of a lawful good version of Korona. That way we have one Korona for each extremity (Light Korona = Lawful Good with Spirit and Light, Korona = Neutral with Light and Shadow, and Dark Korona with Psychic and Shadow).

Name: Aegis
Appearance: later; you'll probably know this lol
Gear: A very cool mask of perfection, everything else doesn't matter to him as he can just make a new one
Personality/history: Aegis is the life and soul of a party. Funny, sharp and pretty clever, from first appearances you would never get this. He comes across as a moron with the brain of a housefly and the trigger finger of a six year old boy after eating too much sugar. He became a Balancer (again) a few hundered years ago and because of his past experiences and adventures is regarded as some kind of a hero by those who don't know him on a personal level (those who do regard his sucess as pure blind luck). Even so, he's got a lot of unfufilled potential, which he might even know about.
Religion: Balancers have a mixed approach to religion due to Korona's vague leadership and mixed appearances. Some treat her as a full on omnipotent diety, some treat her as nothing more than a commanding officer. Aegis does neither, and most of the "reverence" from him for her is "disguised" as insults.
Skills: Summoning and all the powers that come with being a Balancer as well as various misc powers gifted to him by various greater powers.

Name: Raythis (Ray-Thîs)
Manifestation: Link Typically Raythis appears as a winged human man with carefully crafted armor, but will occasionally, not very often, appear as a female to woo men into doing something for him.
Philosophy: Raythis is power hungry, since before he became a god he has looked for power over others, this has translated to his need to conquer other universes and gain power from those living within.
Personality: He is ruthless, and willing to do anything to achieve his goals.
Powers/domains/elements: In D&D he would preside over the War and Destruction Domains. Basically he is a god of war, who can weaken the force of another army by lowering morale, or weapon material, and help the side he wishes to win in other methods. His control over the art of war, weapons, and destruction in general allow him many abilities to increase his ability in battle, this has helped him in several battles with other divinities.
History: In his original universe Raythis was a simple ranger who worshipped the earlier presiding god of nature. As he gained abilities, his devotion to his god increased, and this gave him the ability to draw power from the god in the form of magic. His first taste of this magic was what began to lure him to the idea of power, and he devoted his life to the gain of it. He conquered nations, but his thirst was not yet quenched, so he formulated a plan. A portal was built, a portal which could access the realm of the gods. Armed with magic and steel, he entered the portal. He wasn’t seen again for ten years. The people of the world assumed he was killed for daring to infringe upon the territory of their gods, but they were wrong. He returned to his throne room after those ten years, and gave an incredible fright to the then-king. And Raythis explained to the king, what had happened, and why all the clerics in the world had just lost their power.
Summary in 10 words: This power hungry god of war destroyed an entire pantheon.

Name: Catastrophe
Manifestation: Either of 2 beings, one a huge floating being the size of a planet in deeper space, the other a gold plated titan the size of a skyscraper. (I will find the pics I did of him.)
Philosophy: To create utter balance is to destroy everything to make things anew.
Personality: -_- He's a being who wants to destroy everything his wake, you decide what his personality is.
Powers/domains/elements: He weilds many different powers, each more devastating then the next. (Will go into detail with this later...)
History: His rising started when 2 opposite balanced toa (Rapi and Aegis) fought to see what scale of balance would dominate first (Rapi had turned a bit evil then >>;, they collided thus making the abomination that is Catastrophe. After being destroyed his body didn't fully disappear and later reconstructed itself without the toa within it.
Summary in 10 words: A vision of what true balance could be if left unchecked ('A' doesn't count as a word <<)

I'm betting this will be a multiplanetary RPG like UW, since divinities love to visit other planets so often. I also imagine that a lot of god fighting will be done in space as well.

Manifestation: To those of the Bionicle race, she is a female version of Mata Nui. To everyone else, she looks like a holy Valkyrie with a full suit of armor- without the helmet, purely white hair, and a glowing aura around her 24/7. In both manifestations, she dons awesome looking silver wings.
Philosophy: Forty-tw *Record scratch* "War is the epitome of evil in this universe, but I am a strong advocate of the freedom to choose. If thou see-est fit to live thy foolishly, let thy experiences teach thee the lessons thou must learn."
Personality: Very pacifistic and anti-war personality. Also gentle, loving, and caring, though she can get very upset when anything irritates her to the point of no return.
Powers/domains/elements: Xyrinia can see into both the future and the past. She is also a master of the elements she wields./She lives in the Celestial Realm in a small cottage to herself./Her favorite elements are light and the basic four: earth, water, air, and fire.

Summary in 10 words: Extremely peaceful female version of Mata Nui chosen to protect Miikre-Nui
