I know you aren't allowed to read fanfic, but this is just a minor thing, allthough it would be fun to include into the story: Mutran is very, very, very in love with Gorast, but Gorast hates Mutran. What do you think about it? Love doesn't exist between Matoran, so I really doubt there would be anything between the cold Makuta. Besides, there's no need.

Certainly not love in the human sense. More like 10 year old's crushes.

MegaToaX - No, it's generated inside of them.
Toanoopie - I am not in the business of writing romance stories, sorry. My core audience -- 8-9 year old boys -- isn't really interested in "who loves who." And romantic love does not exist in the BIONICLE universe -- love of homeland, love of friends, love of honor, love of justice, those exist. Someone being "in love" with someone else does not.

Certainly not love in the human sense. More like 10 year old's crushes. As seen in Mask Of Light and the other films. If I may add, Greg has also said that there's no place for any romantic relationship to go anyway; there will never be any romance plot in Bionicle; they cannot reproduce biologically (just wanted to mention that ), etc, etc. So whereas humas kiss and elsewise, Matoran, Toa, etc, do and can not. I haven't assigned names or powers to them, since they would never be shown as powered masks in story in the foreseeable future.

Hmmm... they really look like Noble Nuva masks to me... or maybe just Noble masks...
Hey Greg, what do you imagine Lariska looking like? I mean, I know there's nothing official, but surely when you write for someone you have some sort of image in your head?

TOW - 3) No. Things like extracting metal particles out of the sand fall under the category of "too cumbersome to stop in the middle of story and explain to an 8 year old what the heck he's doing" >_> <_< Can I have a try? Let's see... "The Toa of Magnetism raised his hand and a black cloud of powder rose from the beach sand around him and formed into a spear. He grabbed it and threw it at the hideous Rahi charging in his direction- stabbing it through the head and killing it. The Rahi fell over with the black spear still stuck in it's head. Stunned, the Toa of Fire asked "What did you just do!?". The Toa of Magnetism just said to him "This beach sand is full of powdered iron" and left it at that" Sorry. Left out the word "Oxide" because that is a word to make a kid's head explode with because he knows no chemistry to know what the pfargtle an oxide is.

And the problem with this explaination is, you just had a Toa kill a Rahi. That's generally rule #1 on what NOT to do if you're a Toa. Lesovikk and Toa Empire Toa excluded. But beyond that, it is a bit hard to explain "Oh hey, there is some iron inside of the sand, so I will now form my own weapon." It's also godmodding to a point. What fun is there in seeing a Toa using his power to make 50 different weapons to kill you, while you have only one? -RR

@ RR: Sorry. I forgot about them rules.
What do you mean godmodding!? A simple magnet can pick up iron fillings from a mix of sand and iron fillings... so not godmodding.
I remember seeing X-men 2 and how Magneto pulled out the iron from a guard's blood and then he built a hoverboard out of it. That example is relevant as Mr. Farshtey is always bring him up whenever Magnetism is concerned.
As for that last part... *facepalm* What's the fun? WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT'S THE FUN? I remember reading that Toa of Stone can manipulate sand to theoretically perform a similiar sort of trick... except that they don't because people get confused whether Sand is Earth or Stone. And Toa of Iron can manipulate the weapons held by others as long as the weapons are made of metal.
And I recall seeing Naruto... and there was Gaara using sand to shield himself and making spikes out of it to hurt people with... and crushing some poor dude with a large amount of it... That is relevant because possibly many of the BIONICLE fanset probably like Naruto as well, and that Gaara's "godmodding" has not seemed to reduce it's or the show's popularity.
So please be to get off my case. Now.

1) Would the Inika/mahri in training matoran in Karzahni's realm really have died by not being toa in the canesters? 2) Why did Karzahni not fix matoran like he was supposed to? 3) What absorbed the light in the tunnel? 4) What stopped Takanuva from getting through to the other side of the barrier? 5) What/who kept the matoran inside? 6) What would Vezon have looked like before he touched the MoL? 7) What did Toa Tuyut, Makuta Teridax, Brutaka and Karzahni have looked like before death and transformations? 8) Is Brutaka back in the OoMN? 9) Can the Ships in the 08 summer storyline be repaired? Can they land? 10) What happened to Antrox's ship when he teleported out of it? Did it crash? 11) Was the mask of telepathy found by Kongu the one once worn by Krakua? 12) If not, who? 13) What was Karzahni's furnace used for? 14) How can electricity turn matoran into toa/ not kill the matoran? 15) Why were the toa Nuva/Mata still supposed to be inside the canisters. 16) Because of Takanuva, will there always be shadow?

Bundalings - Nope, usually I don't. I think in words, not pictures.
TOW - While I do bring up Magneto a lot, that's true, X-Men is not written for 9 year olds. It's written for college age and older. As for Naruto, I don't doubt it is a relevant example, but I have never heard of it so it doesn't influence what I do at all. As you said, we don't let the Toa of Stone control sand and we don't let the Toa of Magnetism do what you suggest because it will confuse our younger readers. Doesn't mean theoretically they COULDN'T do it -- means they WON'T do it in story because I don't have time to stop and explain what it is they're doing. Were I writing this for the same audience Marvel and DC writes for, I would absolutely do the magnetic trick you brought up (ala what Magneto once did to Banshee) -- but I'm not, so I don't.
DGH - 1) Don't understand your question 2) Because he isn't any good at his job 3) Hasn't been revealed 4) The barrier blocks anyone who has the elemental power of light from passing through 5) Inside what? 6) Like he did in the set, only without a mask on the back of his head 7) You've seen Brutaka -- 2006 set -- you've seen Teridax -- 2001, 2003, 2004 -- Karzahni was shown in the BIONICLE World book -- and Tuyet, no pic exists of. 8) Yes 9) Too early to discuss 10) Too early to discuss - that was a tease of Book 11, I can't discuss the storyline of that book. 11) No 12) Hasn't been revealed 13) Forging parts 14) Because the Matoran were destined to be transformed by it 15) When? You need to give me context for your question. 16) I don't understand your question.

1) Was the matoran from Karzahni's realm crazy by not escaping? Is this why he told the matoran (Jeller, Kongu...) that they would die because they were not toa and should not have been in the canesters? Would they have died?
5) What kept the matoran inside the barrier near Karzahni's realm?
15) The crazy matoran from Karz's realm said that the toa mata should still be in the canesters he built. Why? Was it not destiny that the toa help fend off rahi on the island?
16) The crazy matoran in Karz's realm also said that with no seventh canester, there will be no toa of light. A toa of light means that there is shadow. Does that mean that there will always be shadow? Does light and shadow have to be balanced?
17) Are Axxon and Brutaka friends again? Is Brutaka still mutated from the Pit Mutagen?
18) How many Makuta are left?

D - 1) Such as what?
DGH - 1) Toa canisters are not designed for Matoran. It was basically a miracle that Jaller and his crew didn't die on the trip.
5) The barrier wasn't what was keeping them in -- it was designed to keep Av-Matoran out. What was keeping them there was Karzahni and the Manas.
15) Because as far as the Av-Matoran knew, they should have been. He had no idea Mata Nui was asleep, and so no reason to believe the Mata canisters would have been launched.
16) No, you are misunderstanding him. He knew if there was ever a Toa of Light, it would mean things were really, really bad in the universe -- so, as almost a superstition, he and others believed that if they made no preparations for a seventh Toa, things would never get so bad that one was needed.
17) Axonn has no idea Brutaka is out of the Pit, and yes, Brutaka is still mutated, only the Ignika can undo that.
18) Enough.

1) Are there the alternate universes with the same results from Karzahni's nightmares? Takanuva dies...
2) How can you really beat a Vahki or a nektan? How will they NOT join together again?
3) In Power Play, Axxon was seen battered by Brutaka only to fight him again and beat Brutaka later on in the story. Why did he not kill Axxon while he had the chance? Why did he save the matoran from the doom viper?
4) How can Brutaka steal the MoL if it will mutate him?
5) Why did Brutaka keep the toa nuva alive?
6) Why wasn't Vezon stopped by Brutaka and Axxon from getting the mask?
7) Will we ever learn about Krakua's mask or the shadow stealing creature or the Hagah masks and armor... ? This goes for everything you said has not been revealed yet.

DGH - 1) According to the theory, everytime a decision is made, an alternate reality is created where a diferent decision was made, meaning there are an almost infinite number of potential and actual alternate realities. 2) Destroy the pieces, then they can't join together again. 3) Because Brutaka was never really an evil character -- he was suffering from a loss of faith. If he had been truly evil, he wouldn't be back with the OOMN now. 4) Where do you see Brutaka stealing the Mask of Life? Brutaka has never even touched it up to now. 5) See answer to #3. 6) Because the Mask wanted Vezon to possess it, so he never even encountered B and A. He bypassed them. 7) Well, the Hagah stuff should be answered in a summer serial, and I don't know what your question is on Krakua's mask -- he wears a Suletu, we already know that. As for everything else, some things I will wrap up, some I will save for possible later storyline or just think work better as mysteries.

Are we allowed to ask questions about Kingdom? I read it and answered many of my questions but also just made many more!
1K) Even after 10,000 years, people still did not recognize their hero?
2K) What material allowed the rakshi to get through the barrier along with Teridax?
3K) What is left to fight with the makuta dead in the Kingdom of Mata Nui?
4K) What is Nuparu's project?
5K) Are Takanuva's weapons the same as the ones he gets in the summer set?
6K) Did Artaka and Karzhanhi survive the great flood?
7K) Can Toa Tanma or Toa/Turaga Takanuva become B----k?
8K) What happened to Makuta's Antidermis after you know what happened?
9K) What will happen to the kingdom/island if the universe died?
10K) What is beneath the kingdom/island?
Now with a regular question...
11) Was Voya Nui underwater when it rocketed up, then a part sunk?
12) How would the matoran and turaga/ Axxon and Brutaka survive underwater.
13) Brutaka wanted to steal the mask of life from the Piraka when they got it (they never did). How would this have happened if Brutaka would get mutated? How would the piraka for the same reason as Brutaka? Would they get the same fate as Vezon?
14) Will Axxon find Brutaka again in future storyline?
15) When will the next Dark Mirror come out? 16) When will the next Mutran Chronicles come out? 17) When will the next Fedderation of Fear come out? 18) When will the next summer story seriels come out?

TOW - No.
DGH - 1) Nope. Takanuva was shadow leeched in this universe, but that doesn't mean he looked exactly the same as he did in ours. 2) Shadow armor. 3) Hopefully, nothing, and the Matoran can have some peace. 4) Space travel. 5) Yes. 6) Yes. 7) No. Once you are a Toa, that is not going to happen to you, it only happens to some of their tribe of Matoran. 8) It will eventually dissipate on its own. 9) The universe already did die. Eventually, the Metru Nui dome will collapse, taking what was once the island of Mata Nui with it. 10) Beneath the island of Mata Nui is Metru Nui, beneath the new land is just landmass created by the Toa. 11) Mahri Nui did not exist yet when Voya Nui rocketed up, but yes, its dome was underwater. The only dome above water is Mata Nui. 12) I am not sure what you are referring to. 13) If you want power, you have to take risks. 14) I can't discuss future storyline. 15-17) I am on vacation this week, so nothing will get written before next week. 18) Most likely starting in July.

DRTTB - Simple. I repel the ground I am standing on, so that I go into the sky. As long as I continue to repel the ground underneath me, I can move. Works the same way Magneto can fly using magnetic power.
DGH - 1) Bohrok Va are creations of the Bahrag, Bahrag are a unique species of which there are only two, and Kal are mutated Bohrok 2) Matoran of Iron.

1) What in antidermis helps Brutaka? Can the zamor spheres the Inika recieved by the matoran resistance counter or reverse the effect like they did to enslaved matoran?
2) What color is Axxon's zamor sphere that he gave to the inika? 3) What color was the one with Vezok's powere that Hakan made? 4) What color is the one to reverse the effect on Hakan's Vezok sphere?
5) If the Ignika cracks, wouldn't a large amount of life power leak out like the mask of time?
6) Will we ever learn more about or see the Bahrag again?
7) I'm confused, how did Matoro learn the rahi speak if nobody besides Kaulis and Nuju learned it and that Nuju never spoke in matoran when he learned it and Kaulis never met matoro until after they returned. To make the question short, how did matoro learn the rahi language?
8) If av- matoran become bohrok, what then makes the krana? How do Krana control the Bohrok?
9) Is a Bohrok considered a matoran after it's transformation?
10) What is special about the six matoran that became bohrok-kal? Was the choice random?
11) What causes the energy storms in Karda Nui?
12) How can the Codrex protect the Karda Nuians?

Hi, Greatest of the Gregs. I sent this to you on BZPower a few days ago but I know you're really busy there, so I'm posting it here. (Just a reminder in case you forgot- A while ago you approved the use of Nihu, Motara, and the triangular writing.) And a note: Remember how a while ago I asked about the symbol here, here, and here? Because they were always used as his symbol anyways, I included it in the corner as Teridax's personal seal. Hope that's okay with you.
