Kudos for being different, but I personally can't stand it. The oddly blocky/ pyramidical torso irks me, the arms are awkward, and the legs... Argh its just too different.
I would've named it Hephaestus, wasn't he the crippled blacksmith? Prometheus was strong and presumably more normal.

I love everything except the legs. I think it would be better if you made them shorter and less skinny

This puts me in mind of something halfway between Grike (aka Shrike) in Mortal Engines and IG-88. I like the head in particular.

Different, it is. The crown's a nice touch, but the legs look incredibly weak and awkward.

Those hands are so awesome they're arousing though I doubt they're your design, though well implemented
but I think I agree with merx mostly, as it is so very very very different. I do quite like it though.

Hephestus would've been a great name. Definately fitting, too. I just never thought of it before you brought it up. Origionally, there was going to be more fire (relating to Prometheus being the being that gave humans fire [In Greek mythology (For those who don't know)]), but I decided against that.
Also, the legs are actually very stong and stable.
And yeah, Captin, those hands aren't anything new, I just added a (+0+) piece on top of the T-bar on the thumb, so I wouldn't have a little light grey stub sticking out of it's hand.
