Chapter 1
Kopaka Nuva, Toa Nuva of Ice stood upon the peak of Mount Ihu which was named after Turaga Nuju’s mentor. The view was absolutely incredible. You could see the entire of Mata-Nui on that peak. From the beaches of Ga-Wahi, to the jungles of Le-Wahi, everything could be seen clearly. There was the village of Ta-Koro, protected by walls and guards standing at their posts. Every village could be seen except for Le-Koro and his Ko-Koro seeing as both were well hidden.
For a second, Kopaka thought of the adventures and dangers he and the Toa Nuva had face. They had found the six Great Kanohi Masks, defeated the Bohrok Queens and their horde and beat all six of the Bohrok-Kal. They had even bested the evil Makuta’s Rahkshi and helped Takua to realize his true self which is to become the legendary Toa Nuva of Light, Taka Nuva.
The Toa Nuva’s adventures were chronicled by Takua, the Chronicler. Kopaka thought, how long will that wall of chronicles be before the Toa Nuva’s adventures stop or broke? If that someone was not a Toa but had done a great deed, would they be chronicled? Kopaka shut his eyes. Of course they would. It’s just that nothing great has been done yet by someone other than the Toa Nuva.
Kopaka stopped thinking and decided to return to Ko-Wahi to check on the workers.

“Sister, how goes the preparations to Metru-Nui?” asked Pohatu Nuva, Toa Nuva of Stone and levitated his arm up in a fist.
“Quite well brother. We only have a few more boats before we can take a break,” Gali Nuva, Toa Nuva of Water replied and clanged her fist with Pohatu’s.
“It seems so. Turaga Onewa seems distracted. I am unsure whether it would be that it has been a long time since he’s seen his homeland or something is wrong here on Mata-Nui. Every time I try to ask him, he says it’s nothing to worry about.”
“Then, he’s probably just missing Metru-Nui. It has been over a thousand years.”
“I know, I know sister. But the Turaga has been much more stressed each day,” Pohatu sighed. Gali put her palm on Pohatu’s shoulder. “Never worry, if there is something wrong, the two of us and the rest of the Toa Nuva shall unite together and overcome the obstacle!”
Pohatu looked up at Gali’s face and pulled a smile. Gali felt satisfied since her encouragement managed to lighten up Pohatu. She noticed a green dot coming closer at a high speed.
Lewa Nuva, Toa Nuva of Air landed to the ground and took a few steps forward to prevent himself from falling after the landing. “Brother, sister, we have some bad-trouble. A huge-pack of Muaka-bears are reacting very strangely to something close to Le-Koro,” Lewa said. “Something?” Pohatu asked curiously.
“Yes, a rock that appeared ever-suddenly from nowhere.”
“You two go ahead, I will summon the rest of the Toa Nuva to investigate this certain rock." said Gali.
“We’ve been waiting here for hours. They are obviously too interested in that rock to leave. Why can’t we try to scare them away?” Tahu Nuva, Toa Nuva of Fire groaned.
“You wouldn’t want to distract a Muaka-bear. The quick-soon you do, they’ll quick-tear your limbs,” Lewa explained. “So what do you propose we do?” Onua Nuva, Toa Nuva of Earth asked coolly.
The Toa Nuva were hiding in a tree overhanging the Muakas. The Muakas kept rounding the rock, growling, but not taking any action on the rock nor getting incredibly bored and leaving. Taka Nuva tapped Onua’s shoulder.
“I can try to create a bright light that might occupy them while we investigate.”
Gali pondered the idea for a moment then said “It’s worth a try and no harm will come to this.”
Taka Nuva’s palms glowed for a moment and a very bright light shone somewhere between the trees. As a few Muakas ran away from the light, Onua got blinded and lost his grip on a branch. He fell hard on the ground with a groan. There were seven remaining Muakas. They looked to the dark figure lying face down.
“Perhaps there is,” said Kopaka, amused with the clumsiness of the Toa Nuva of Earth.
The seven Muakas seemed uninterested and continued their attention towards the rock.
“Well, I guess the rest aren’t going anywhere. Let’s call it a day and return here to tomorrow,” said Tahu. “Oh, and Onua will have to bury himself underground since his branch broke!” finished Tahu with a laugh. Gali rolled her eyes and shook her head at Tahu’s joke. “Very well, we shall return here at the same time tomorrow.”
With that, the Toa Nuva moved out in different directions to their villages.
