"Look in the box and here is something for you, it's another one of Andrew's review...s!"
Hi welcome back. Tonight, I will be reviewing the Toa Ignika! First the box. You see the ignika in an interesting pose and it basically tells you what you are going to get in the set, a guy on a hover board. The back has a new pose and on the bottom the Phantoka and corresponding av-matoran (also one of his sholder armor pieces is upside down!)
When you put the set together, there is an interesting mix of new pieces such as the new more sturdy joints, the mask of course, and the new long flat pieces that make up the ship. First is the toa. I was surprised at the mask being like Maxilos's with it connecting to a face with a plus peg. It usually gets stuck in the head when you try to remove the mask, the peg get's stuck in the head only to be jammed inside when you try to put it back on. His back has a new piece that allows him to put any matoran on his back. The colors go well together, orange black and silver. They remind me of the stages of the mask (gold to silver to black) which is a nice touch. The brain piece is like Kongu mahri's (a half a brain) and allows a lot of motion unlike the Makuta who cannot look up all of the way. His weapon is old which was disapointing to me. I wanted something new. His body also was made in the same way as the Piraka... AGAIN which was also dissapointing. MAKE SOME NEW BODIES ALREADY! Finally is the armor found on Nuparu Mahri but in silver. It was a very nice touch and I think of it as a positive even though it wobbles a lot.
The hover craft was also cool and not like a board but an entire vehicle! The surface was flat so he could stand on it while the bottom was found for a rocket and had kick stands to keep it up and foldible wings. The rocket and foot holes are the only problems I found how the rocket wobles and the foot peg comes out with the foot though it is a nice touch.
Overall: I found it very playful.
The set had some new pieces
Small touches make the figure look cool and probably work with any av-matoran
The hover craft is a nice touch
The hover craft never falls down
The mask was not up to my expectations
The same body and pieces for the toa
Loose pieces in set
Overall I find the set to be a lot of fun and worth the price. It is up to you to if you want this set. See you next time on Andrew's Reviews! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
