"Look in the box and here is something for you, it's another one of Andrew's review...s!"
Good afternoon everyone. You know what time it is!
"Time to leave this stupid review with the toa or Makuta? They all look the same and are easy to build!"
That is why I have for you today a big 30 dollar titan! (prices may varie at different stores!)
"Gasp! "
Today, I will show you the best titan of the year so far, (opinion!) the one and only MAKUTA [glow=red,2,300]ICARAX!!!!![/glow]
The box...
An average, every day box. It does however have an interesting picture of the Krakann as a background. The boxes code is [glow=red,2,300]mix183[/glow]. It has a fue illistrations of how to flip Makuta's mask around, how to shoot the tridax pod, how to move the wings, and how to spin the shield!
The Pieces...
Pieces are all old or atleast old for this year. The newest pieces are the wings, Antrox claws, Makuta chest piece and Makuta rib cage, new joints, and the Krahkan mask... Krahkan??? Isn't that the old mask? Actually no. Compare them. The old mask should be more grey and have two extra holes cut out. Should you buy it for that reason? No, you can hardly tell the difference (atleast you know that their is a difference!).
The Set...
Wow! Astonishingly, he has a great color scheme and is sturdier than the priveous Makuta and toa sets. The feet are also intrakit such as the roodaka high heels of yesteryear. The wings are also on their own axel and can move freely without moving the arms (cough*cough* Antrox*). Who said that? Well that is a pro that many people shal enjoy for years to come. Also, gears are back. The geared sets we have come to love are coming back, even one hordika arm at a time. Unfortunatly the shield can turn on it's own which ruins the fun. It is also hard to pose that arm. Finally, they fitted the toa metru head with the small brain so if you put the Krahkan on, you will not see the brain sticking out the back.
Overall...
Very fun to play with. It was easy to put together though. Now for the pros and cons.
Pros:
Cool addition to box.
New Krahkan
Great color scheme
Good foot/leg design
Gears
Good, posable wings
Better Metru head disign
Sturdy
Fun
Cons:
old pieces (reused)
Shield arm hard to pose
Shield can move on its own
easy to put together
Unfortunatly, it was a little small for a titan and looks more like a box set.
Overall I think it was a great set and even though it costs more for a smaller set, I think it is worth it. You Deside!
