"Look in the box and here is something for you, it's another one of Andrew's review...s!"
Hey, I'm back with another review. By the end of today, I will have a Rockoh review for you but until then... BITIL!!!!!!!!!!!
I wanted to get a Makuta but because Jetrax's ship is missing from stores (if you know where I can find one, that would be most helpful), I got a mistica canister.
Canester:
The front has an image of Bitil (the Beetle) shooting his ghost blaster. His mask is in a strange angle that makes it look much different than actually in the set. (The mask on canester is much shorter than the long mask in the actual set.
The back has the code LTB045 , an image of all six mistika on the side, how to shoot the blaster and how to combine with another matoran (Galva).
What I really find interesting is the top of the canester. It is the Mask of Life. As you may already know, one half is rough, bumpy and damaged while the other side is claen and smooth. The side at which you see tells if it is a toa or Makuta (Makuta rough, Toa smooth). I dislike how The line at which both sides connect is visable. It is nothing that would stop you from getting the set however.
Bitil Set:
Bitil is a great set. A defident get for most people in my opinion.
The color scheme is great, making it look like a walking yellow jacket (bee). I like the new weapons but one hand that is holding the blaster is hard to move around. A little tweeking can change that hand to the one on the other side. I also like the neck which you can move more than in other years when it was cemented on. I hate the spikes on his arms though. They keep moving around.
His weapons are cool as well. The two front ones are long and has a larger front piece that looks like it can be used as a shovel.
His two feet are in my opinion excelent. This set uses them like normal feet but Gorast has another way of doing that which I do not like (I will explain when I do a Gorast review).
He has two clawlike apendages on his legs that serve no purpose other than looking coll. They succeeded in that. They are the hands on the new Takanuva that is out in TRU!
Bitil has two wings which fit the set well. They are hard to put into the neutral position like a real bug (as seen in the bionicle.com movie) but it can be done and it really helps get them out of the way.
Bitil's head is a Vahki head backwards. The mask has that new "Get Your Own Peg idea in which you need to insert your own peg to attach it to a head.
The mask fits onto Vahki heads more than anything. They can be worn by other heads but look really stupid when they are. The mask cannot be taken off unless the eyes are already out of the socket. This is good if masks constantly fall off but bad if you like taking off masks regularly.
Blaster:
The ghost Blaster is extremely funto play with. I like the colors a lot too but that is my opinion. It is not rapid fire like a cordak but much more fun. The parts are bigger and cannot be lost... as easily as cordak ammo. The Ghost Blasters shoot very far for there size and give off a nice pop sound when shot. I hate the two wings on the side but they keep the ammo on target. Many plus peg holes allow things to attach on all sides. The ammo is also hard to attach to things unlike the cordak. Also, Cordak fell out many times so the longer end that is hard to get out of holes may be a good thing too.
Overall...
this set is a must get. It is very fun. You should decide though. It is your money your spending.
