I was thinking maybe it was a banner featuring the members and I was gonna come in to complain that I wasn't in it.
I got quite ahead of myself.

boy you need to work on your blending, the masks look really crappy with the white pixles in it :\ And to that I say: I'm new to banner making. I have no clue what "blending" means. I do realise that there are pixels in the eyesockets, and I am workking on removing them. I don't use a program like photoshop, and I haven't the slightest a clue how to "blend" pics in Paint.NET. Could you be a little more helpful, as pointing out something I already know (and saying something I don't fully understand how to do) doesn't help me get better at all.
To everyone else: Thanks, I'm glad you think it's nice.

Oi bennie boy, stop picking on me will ya, its a pain in the butt.
and primus, you're really asking for it by using pain.net, the gimp is free too, you may want to look at it as its close to photoshop. Since paint.net doesn't have a blur/smudge option the only wait to do it is by following this:
The "blur" tool can be effectively emulated in PDN by using the Lasso Selection(S) tool on the area you want to blur, then copying(Ctrl+C) and pasting(Ctrl+Sft+V) that selection to a new layer and Gaussian blurring that new layer. If Using Hot Keys, this is a relative quick process. The only problem I noticed with this process is, the opacity of the blurred layer is reduced. To fix this you may want to duplicate the blurred layer a few times.
its a pain, but you wanted me to say something that could help you, although i would understand a negative reply since it really is a pain...

Or save face by illegally downloading photoshop cs3 I support this notion. Nice banner btw, but like Magz said, needs blending.

I need practice with Photoshop, I was just getting comfortable with CS2 before the school got CS3.
Now how will I ever finish shooping my Death Note movie poster featuring cosplay and CGI?

Creative Suit 3 is in (Graphical User Interface) not much different then 2 its a bit cleaned up and given a nicer look but that's all. If you have trouble with CS3 then it means you have no basic skill in general photoshop whatsoever (like you posted) i myself used the 2 following sites to learn the basics of photoshop: www.pixel2life.com/tutorials/adobe_photoshop/www.good-tutorials.com/tutorials/photoshop

>_<
I wasn't even that comfortable with CS2 before the change was the key part of that sentence.
