Here is a self MOC of me, Takadox3. The front consists of a Toa Nuva chest plate and shoulder armour. The back has nothing that special besides stuff that connects to other stuff like the waist and shoulder armour. Please note that this is my first MOC!

It's good for a first MoC. I would suggest giving him new feet as the current ones look a tad flipper like.

Not bad. The chest armour looks awkward though and the limbs could use a little more customization.

Have you tried twisting the socket so the ankle is at the middle of the foot instead of the back? I noticed that the hordika feet were built to accomidate that, almost like it was supposed to be that way, and they just sorta decided to do those flipper feet.
It's not a bad start, especialy with that shoulder armor on what looks like a socket. It is sorta plain I agree, so maybe you can start by replacing the double sockets that make up the upper arm and leg by grabbing single sockets and pinning them together with some other decorative parts, assumning youve got the ordinance for it. I think thats the best place to start for making it better, I would also suggest working on thhe torso armor, I would keep thyat main peice but I cant help but think you can fit some more around it to smooth the look over a bit.

the socket for the neck will get loose very fast... the armor plate built for two things: 1. make the bionicle look cool 2. holt the neck socket
