Well, they already do, don't they? I mean, Hahli and Jaller have an infatuation with each other for sure that we could call affection, and Matau and Nokama back in 04 and 05 (moreso 04)...
SO I think that they do and should be able to have affectionate feelings for those of the oppositte sex. (if there's gay bionicles, I don't wanna hear about them--here's another topic of discussion for my greg interview!)
