To christen this new MoC forum, with its first contest. The challenge is…
To Build Yourself[/b]
Well really, build a MoC of your Bionicle self, or the Bionicle Character you typically use to represent yourself on Bionicle sites, this does not have to be your current screen name, because in some cases there is no bionicle form of the screen name, or it’s just a random name that would sound very strange attached to a bionicle figure.

Rules:
- The entry must be built entirely of LEGO parts, cut parts are allowed, as well as painted. If you melted down the plastic and made a totally new part out of it, then it’s not allowed. The part should be recognized as LEGO.
- The entry should be built by you, or if you have a family member who does not have an account on the forums, and does not wish to have one, you may enter an entry made by them, but you cannot enter a second one made by yourself.
- No whining about lack of parts, if you don’t think your MoC is very good because of a lack of parts, you don’t have to enter it.
- Staff may enter, but are not eligible for the grand prize.
- Entries should be relatively new, if they have been posted on the forum in the past it would be prudent to only enter if it was posted in within the last few weeks, because you may be able to do something better now
Recommendations:
- Try to build you MoC without the use of prefabricated limbs or bodies. A MoC built with a toa metru body, and limbs doesn’t stand a chance next to a fully custom toa that is custom down to its hands
- The color scheme of the MoC is one of the most important parts. If the MoC isn’t consistent it won’t be very aesthetically pleasing and people won’t like to look at it, which can make it harder to judge.
- The pictures are what tell us what the MoC looks like, really they’re the most important part. If you don’t have clear pictures, we can’t tell what it looks like or how you put it together, this creates problems while judging.
- The more photos you take the better, if you include a gallery with the MoC then you can be nearly sure that the viewers of the MoC see what you see when you have it in your hands.
- If there is an animal, or vehicle, or weapon, or anything really, that typically is with your self character and helps describe them better then you may include whatever that is with your entry.
The Final Date to enter your entries is Febuary 15, 2008 from 5-9 PM Mountain time.
