"Look in the box and here is something for you, it's another one of Andrew's review...s!"
Good afternoon everyone. You know what time it is! Time to play mind numbing video games... but my mom said no so here I am! Today I will bring an idea of the Makuta Chirox. It will be up to you to buy the set.
First comes the box. It looks just like the setting, Karda Nui which is made of caves. The canister is... well a canister unlike the Mahri canister which was a cover and disposible plastic. This was great to me. The image was perfect, it showed the Makuta shooting a tridax pod and flying into battle. The back showed how you can pose the Makuta in the outside cave part of the canister. It also shows how to shoot the tridax pod and shadow leaches along with how to combine the shadow av-matoran, Kirop.
Then came the opening of the pieces. I was shocked at all of the new pieces found. The mask, wings, tools, and two clawed feet were really cool. The mask had fangs like a vampire and because of how the wings and arms were designed, looks like a bat too. The arms were very long but when folded up, keep the small wings out of the way, act as wings to fly and also make it easy to pose the set. The clawed feet are very interesting and nice. They are solid plastic unlike the other ones that needed to put another piece in th attach to a leg. It was like the original toa mata foot. The body was a bit simple but really easy to play with unlike Makuta Antrox (I will talk about him in my next review).
The body was my favorite part being... shall say it...
NON PIRAKA!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
It's about time. This body can be both good and bad. The neck wobbles a lot but is hardly noticible if you ask me! Also, a new part can be put inside the set's chest and I will use Imatron's word to discribe the rib cage... Makuta Bones. They hold the Tridax Pod into place, very well in fact and by pressing the back, they release the pod much like the bitting of the visorak but only one piece and no rubberbands.
The tridax pod contained 4 shadow leaches that had a plus peg hole in the back and in the pod. This is very good because it can fit onto armor unlike are usless Birakki squid ammo. I ut one on the Makuta of Metru Nui I have (Ultamate Dume) as a heart light. The very cool creatures also had a cartoony face and fangs.
In my opinnion, the set was very fun and cool.
Opinions:
New pieces
New chest!
Can almost see it flying into battle
Fun
Great new canister
tridax pod and shadow leaches are cool
Neck wobbles
Arms too long
too simple
I say... get the set. This is another great set out there but there are some that are not as good so look around for other opinnions. Remember, it is still your choice on who you want to buy.
