New character: Kiradon
An odd, slouched figure entered the room. He was like no natural Makuta should be. One half of his mask looked like a normal Komau, but the other half was twisted and warped, showing many surgical implants and a multi-lens eye. His right arm, rather than matching his left clawed one, was a series of tubes, needles, and odd devices. He walked forward on double-jointed legs like some odd reptile, but both of his feet were odd mechanical mock-ups, sporting wheels and spikes in an odd manner that made them look impossible to use.
"So, iz zee patient ready, hmm? Because I sure am."

Yazid entered the room quietly and then spoke.
"I understand I'm new here, but the least I can do to repay your kindness is to help."
Yazid strapped a scabbard to his belt a produced a rapier.
"I hope you don't mind, I borrowed it from the armory."

Thear walked up slowly, looking over the scientist with ill interest.
"We will be ready soon, The experiments will be merely for...curiousity to how they can possess certain powers. I mainly want this to be a torture, I want as much information out of the Balancer as possible. Though, the boy, he is a hybrid, and I am interested greatly to how he has survived all these years. Gakurak will be assisting you."

"Very well zhen. All pain, all gain, nuh?" He raised his right arm and fired a dart at Aegis, who was encased in a sickly green field for a second. "No Darkshifting for you, my friend."

Thear watched what happened, and shrugged his shoulders.
"You two enjoy yourselves, I am off to discuss this with the Makuta."
Thear nodded his dark haired head, and his short figure slowly walked away.

"Yes, yes, I'll just ztay here vith my captives and have zome fun, nuh?" Kiradon entered through another room containing the Balancer and the Human. He approached Hau and prepared his medical devices. "Hallo, my vriend, it iz time ve got to know each other better."

Gakurahk looked at Hauuken with a vaguely sorrowful expression. He met Aegis before, somewhat- hated him in such a way that he had dreams of killing him in a slow, painful manner that would last for days.
Hauuken, however did nothing to Gakurahk; the toa had no reason to dislike the hybrid even slightly. He wondered if there was any excuse; any reason to even harm Hau. Though he believed in why he had captured Hau, he felt sorry for him, like he was doing something wrong.
"Can we dissect the balancer first? I believe its energies may prove useful for developing weaponry. Especially that hunter/killer rahi I've been designing."

Kiradon thought it over. "Yes, he will prove more useveul to me." He walked over to Aegis and gave him a painful slap on the face to wake him up. "Hallo, Balancer. I believe it iz time to ztart zee operation."
He looked at his medical device greedily. "But I vill give you un chance to reduce your pain. Tell me vhat you know about zee humans and Balancers, un I vill go easy on you."

"Of course we must have weapons..." Lance muttered to himself, taking another shot from his flask, and suddenly remembering what had happened.
"If it is any consolation to you," Lance said to Mei, "I will do my best to ensure the safe return of your son, and the semi-safe return of the balancer."
He then placed his hand onto the stone wall of the meeting room and the floor bubbled up for a second, then popped, and into his hands flew a solid stone flail.

a type of sword came out of Zeke's hand "Until your son and the Balancer are safe, My life is of no importance, i will gladly fight to the death." he called the sword 'Spirit'. Eli generated a bow and said "This Bow is called 'Yuriki' a bow made from a very Skilled bow master, it's arrows will never miss it's target." Voltcal said "We're ready when you are."

"Hmm. Zhis Balancer iz very stupid, no?" Kiradon painfully plugged Aegis into a machine which began to drain his Balancer powers. "Or he iz very expendable. Ve shall soon vind out."

Aegis' powers went nowhere.
"Y'd be better off draining Korona 'erself. They come straight from 'er, and I really dun think she's gonna let 'em go, 'specially t' d**ks like you. All I wonder is..."
Aegis looked upwards.
"WHERE'S TH' F**KIN' BACKUP?!"
Aegis looked back down, calmed.
"They keep us outta th' loop fer a reason y'know. If we need t' know summint then we do, but otherwise s**t all gets told t' us. Now y' gonna let me go or do I jus' escape on my own 'cord? 'Coz you guys suck so hard at being villains."

"If you escape, and there is really no chance you would go farther than... seven meters- you would be completely devoured an mauled by the native wildlife outside this base's perimeter. And if you managed to survive that, the next sector sweep would certainly detect you and gun you down; as you have really proven no significance to us other than an enemy, anyway. Besides, the only paths that lead out of this dome are heavily guarded themselves. So honestly, you can cooperate, and allow us to conduct the research we need, or you can try to escape, and be executed for being the criminal you are."
Gakurahk took a cylindrical device off a shelf, and placed it on Aegis's arm. The machine pierced a series of needles into the Balancer's arm. A glowing, translucent canister then slid out of the top of the apparatus. Gakurahk took the canister and walked outside the door.
"I believe that's all I needed." he said to the scientist "I'll need to show this to Thear immediately. Continue with your research. Oh... and have fun." The shadow toa closed the door behind him, and continued to his destination.

The canister then exploded in a truly spectacular plume of dark blue flame. Aegis laughed upon hearing the (familiar) noise through the door.
"Ahahahaha you stupid t**t," Aegis shouted, "we've already been idiot-proofed."

Gakurahk walked back into the room and pulled a bloody crowbar off a shelf. He then repeatedly hit Aegis with it in a rage, using so much strength and speed that the durable weapon began to bend, inflicting severe, almost unbearable pain upon Aegis, not to mention some damage. "You want to be an imbecile?! Fine! You'll die one!" Gakurahk's face quickly changed from it's kind, somewhat humble expression to a savage, mindless one. He then ceased with beating Aegis. "Throw this devil into the incinerator! I don't care what Thear says! Kill it now!"

Thear stood, quietly, in a dark, large room. He stood there, in the center with a light from the ceiling going down over him.
A few Makuta stood in front of him, sitting quietly, staring at him.
"So you captured him. Soon enough the bait will be trapped, and we will have all the information acquired to go to the portals. We will then see who controls Destiny after that."
Thear said nothing, just quietly nodded his head in agreement.
One of the Makuta shifted in his seat, and pointed at him. "Do not expect to gain anymore gratitude over this, especially if this fails. You will be stuck in the human form for some time, since Kiradon will need to experiment on you some more." he paused for a moment, then waved his hand, "You are dismissed."
Thear bowed, and headed out. Face grim but calm; but inside, the twinge of pain emotionally. Unlike what many would believe, Thear was infact, not a leading Makuta, a lowly one, who had been punished for past actions.
He ignored the jibes of history poking at him, and continued to walk down and check on the experiments taking place.

IC: "Very vell zhen." Kiradon looked at Aegis' slowly-repairing body. He took the shining mask and snapped into several pieces on his knee and watched as the power dissipated into the air. "No more healing for you. Now, despite vhat you have told me, I know that you have valuable invormation about zee Balancers that you have gained from your missions, no?" Kiradon crushed Aegis' arm painfully. "I suggest you reply."
OOC: Kanohi lose their power when they break that much. Your mask can't repair itself.

OOC: Aegis, I hope you realize that would be impossible. I think you're going to have to suck it up and have your character deal with it. Because I know he could. He's Aegis.

Every RPGer has those moments sometimes, we can't always be awesome. We talked about this, and we all agreed he could get captured. What else could we do if he got captured? Go play baseball with the Makuta or something? >> He was gunna get tortured, duh.
