1) Can Takanuva continue to grow as a toa of shadow in Karda Nui?
2) Can Takanuva's lance amplify shadow like it amplifies light?

Takutanuva was listed as "the most powerful being ever to walk on Mata Nui" Is this still the case, or has something now surpassed that?

I think the Kardas dragon has walked on Mata Nui and got badly injured by the bohrok swarms.
1) I heard that we will be spoting MN and other great beings by the end of 2008. Is this true?
2) I also heard of these two Bionicle term, Glatorians and Vastus.
Are they the two sets for 09? (Mistika/Phantoka, Birraki/Mahri...)
3) During Brother's in arms, Gorast helped Mazeka up from the cliff. Why not kill him then?
4) Why didn't Vultraz scream while falling off the cliff? Was it planned that he would fall off and be saved?
5) Where did their battle take place? Karda Nui?

Sandman - On the island of Mata Nui, yes, that is still true. No being more powerful than a combination of a Makuta and a Toa of Light has walked on that island. Kardas Dragon, for example, is very powerful, but he does not have 42 powers plus control of shadow and light.
BM - 1) No Great Beings will be appearing in 2008, and Mata Nui is not a Great Being. He's a Great Spirit. 2) I cannot discuss anything related to 2009. 3) Because she had use for Vultraz, and she needed Mazeka alive to spread the word that Vultraz was dead so no one would be looking for him. 4) No, he simply didn't. Not everyone reacts the same way. 5) No. That was a flashback, it took place on the Tren Krom peninsula many years ago. I think it even says something at the beginning about it being years ago.

I have a question concerning Energized Protodermis.
Roodaka mutated many different things with her spinner right? So if it is not their destiny to be what she mutated into could they be exposed to the Energized Protodermis and regain their origional state?

1) Why is there no way to reverse the effects of Roodaka's Spinner?
2) If Mata Nui awakens, would he try to put everything back in order?
3) Do Bionicles have the ability to fly through space yet? That could be an idea for another year...maybe...not.

Toamiru -- 1) No. If it wasn't their destiny to be mutated by Roodaka, they never would have been in the first place. EP will mutate them again or destroy them. 1a) Roodaka can undo what she has done. 2) We'll see when he wakes up. 3) Matoran do not have space flight capability, and you have to remember we already have Star Wars and other space-oriented lines, so not sure we need another spaceship line.

Hi Greg, going back to the "Old School"
1) Can the Toa Nuva still form their Kaitas now they have Adaptive Armour?
2) Do Kaitas exist as seperate entities (with memories/personalities/destinies) in their own right, or just the 3 personalities+memories combined?
3) Were the Toa Olda/Nuva the only toa who had Kaita, or can all groups create them?
4) Do you wish people stopped digging up irrelevant storyline sidepoints that will most likely never be used again?

Like almost every time someone asks about magnetism in BIONICLE? 3) Was Kopaka intended to "drop in" on the feud between Vultraz and Mazeka in the original idea where "MAKUTA STOLE MA BIKE!". 3a) Where is Kopaka anyway? 4) Where is Takadox, for that matter? The Storyteller: Greg has stated he wasn't around when the idea of Kaita was introduced into BIONICLE. But judging by the dialogue in MNOG, the Toa Kaita exist as dormant entities in each and every one Toa who combines to form them, and every Toa who combines to form a certain Kaita exist as dormant entities within that Toa Kaita. |

3) Karda Nui being restored is a side effect of Mata Nui's awakening.

Sandman - 1) Yes. 2) From what we have seen, separate. 3) Other Toa can create them as well, as well as Rahkshi, Bohrok, Matoran, etc. 4) Depends on what they are digging them up for  Toamiru - 1) One note, the Ignika cannot bring people back to life on its own -- it was only able to do that for Mata Nui using Matoro's life energy. 2) It's a three dimensional image made of light. Aegis - 1) Probably Gavla. 2) I am not really an X-Men fan. I've seen the movies, etc., but never read the comic much. They just never did anything for me -- they were too "trendy" back in the '80s and '90s, and you had to buy too many books each month to follow the story. 3) No. 3a) Well, as of the end of BL10, he's in the swamp. 4) No one knows, he hasn't been spotted since escaping Artidax. Toa of Pickles -- Well, Superman has loads of powers, but hit him with kryptonite and he loses. Makuta are vulnerable to light. 2) No, I can't, that's future storyline. 3) No. The Bohrok's mission deals only with the island of Mata Nui, no place else. Outside of KN, all the places damaged by the GC were restored by the Staff of Artakha. Tanaku - Not sure how it's pronounced in the commercials, but I pronounce it Miss-teek-uh. (I have heard people in the building pronounce it Miss-tick-uh as well, but I like me way better |

just a couple more (for now!)
1) After 2008, will you be able to wrap up old questions that will no longer be of consequence? e.g. (Who made the Bahrag? The Shadowed One's name?) or will it all stay secret until it all gets wrapped up?
2) You have said Tren Krom was a tip of the hat to Lovecraft. Have there been any other "nods" included?

Storyteller - 1) I am not going to suddenly just reveal a whole bunch of stuff online after '08, simply because no decision has been made to never come back to the Matoran universe. TSO's name will never be revealed, I can tell you that right now, and as for the Bahrag, the Great Beings made them. 2) Some, here and there over the years, not a lot.
Zakitano - 1) No, Takanuva cannot do that. If he could, he would have done it for himself already. 2) No, no plans for any VN or MN Matoran to become Toa in story.
