Hi Greg,
Recently on BZP you revealed that Lhikan's team is called the Toa Mangai, and that the Mangai Volcano was named for them. Out of curiosity (and because it would look cool on the wiki) did Vakama choose this name since the volcano's role in protecting Ta-Koro would be similar to the Toa Mangai's role in defending Metru Nui? After all, you made it clear in Maze of Shadows that the protection of the village was Vakama's key reason for choosing the volcano as its site.

Is there a Calendar system in the MU?
How long would a year be in the MU? Would you figure it be the same as here on Earth?
Would you say the same on the hours in a day?

Can Takanuva change the color of his armor? Can he change the Grey of his armor and mask back to gold? Would he use up light energy?
Since an Av-Matoran can change their own colors, would you say a Toa of Light (having more control over light) could change other beings or objects colors?
Could a Toa of Light become invisible by bending the light so it doesnt hit their body? (visibility is caused by light reflecting off of a person or object, so light bending around the person would cause them to become invisible).

Is it possible that there are other "Universes" on the same level as the Matoran Universe that doesn't have Matoran?

In Into The Darkness, Karzahni was fighting Teridax, then Karzahni used his mask to thrust a vision in Teridax mind about Mata Nui´s awekening and then Makuta screamed.

So, he screamed because he was really scared of Mata Nui´s Revenge and because his plan failed, (it says on Biosector 01 and in the OGD that if The plan fails Teridax will die instantly at the hands of Mata Nui) Right?

a) Or did he just pretended to scream?

b) If so, for what reason?

1. What is Nuparu planning to do with the Exo-Toa parts he smuggled into Metru-Nui, if he remembered he still had them?

2. What would you say Nuparu's blade looks like? Is it somewhat like Hewkii's blade-staff, or more like a sword?
2a. How does he hold it when he has both a Cordak Blaster and a shield? Does he holster one of the two Toa Tools on his back when not in use? Did he have enough time to shoulder-mount the Cordak Blaster, or did it never occur to him, with such a vital mission at hand?

Working on it would take time away from 2009 projects that are on dealine. 5) Can't answer it. 6) No plans to deal with that in 2009, no, that is a further down the road thing.

Anyway, two new questions:

1) I recently saw a BIONICLE display in a Target store featuring Rockoh, Gali Mistika, and Krika. On the bottom was a bannerlike graphic showing Rockoh's action features. On the wing-folding feature, it said "Raise and lower the rockslide cannons," presumably in reference to the red laser-cannon on each moveable wing. Is "rockslide cannon" the official name for these wing-mounted blasters?

2) Do you write the info for these displays, or is that a set designer/marketing thing?

Deimos - 1) I can't discuss the 2009 location -- but I can point out that there is no reason to believe there is any other land on the BIONICLE planet other than the island of Mata Nui.

TNN - 1) I often make up the powers. Names come off an approved name list. 2) Yes. The Ignika made them Mahri, and what it did, it can undo.

MNT - 1) Who said he did? Makuta attacked Mata Nui with a virus long before the events of Legends of Metru Nui.

4) They obviously have minds, but whether their brains are organic, bio-mechanical or something else has not been revealed
5) No, mind control itself is not a Makuta power, I don't believe. They can, however, use kraata to infect masks, and so put the person wearing the mask under their influence.

2) Why do all the bionicle names come from the Maori language?

ex:

Ihu = nose (Mnt. Ihu is a mountain north of the Mangai volcano on MN the Island)

Kauae = chin or jaw (Lake Kauae is a lake below the volcano on the southern part of Mata Nui)

Tiro = Shot or blow (Tiro Canyon in a part of Mata Nui that is all desert in the north.

Mangai = Mouth or to eat (Volcano in the center of Mata Nui the island.

3) Does this have any meaning in future storyline?

4) Can Mata Nui shapeshift like a Makuta? Grow/shrink in size?

2) Well, I believe Mata Nui would have fallen backwords when he had originally passed out, that definately would have shaken the universe.

4) As far as I know, whatever was in the video has already been revealed in story, or we'll find out in a few months. So there's no point in telling you now. Plus if any clues in the video were importent, we would have found them by now somewhere else.
